A WEEKEND TO MEET AND THANK OUR FIRST RESPONDERS!
September 7-9, SFBC wants to help build bridges between the community and the First Responders. We also want to thank those who faithfully discharge their service responsibilities.
We will host a BBQ & Bluegrass party on Friday night, September 7, beginning at 6:00 pm. Stop by the church and join in the fun as the pig goes on the pit. We'll have folks manning the BBQ pit all night. Family friendly events are scheduled from 6-8 pm. The community is invited to join our church for a lively evening of fun, fellowship, Corn Hole, free hot dogs, popcorn and snow cones, along with the bluegrass band, Wild & Rare. First Responders are welcome to join us all night during their shift breaks for burgers, brats, and hot dogs!
On Saturday, September 8, we will recognize the service and sacrifice of Shelby County First Responders by hosting a BBQ in their honor beginning at 1:00 pm. First Responders and their families are invited to attend.
Then, on Sunday, September 9, a Combined Worship Service at 11:00 am with a special time of worship will be held for honoring and praying for the First Responders in our county. First Responders are encouraged to come in uniform, as various service providers will be recognized in the service.
