First Family
- Honoring Mothers by Supporting Moms in Our Community.... On Mother's Day, May 11, we're taking time to celebrate not only the mothers in our own lives, but also the many women in our community who are navigating motherhood in challenging circumstances. We're partnering with A Loving Choice (ALC), a community resource committed to supporting women and families facing unplanned or crisis pregnancies. ALC walks alongside these women, equipping them with education and encouragement so they can make informed, empowered decisions about their futures. How can you help? We invite you to bring an item (s) that would bless a new mom or family. Suggested donations are diapers, wipes, bottles, baby outfits, blankets, baby soap, shampoo or lotion.
- Serve Night.... Our first Serve Night of the summer is Wednesday, May 14, at 6:30 pm. We will gather in the Fellowship Hall for a short devotion then make our way into the community to serve others.
- Women's Ministry.... We invite the Ladies to "Grow with Grace" Event on May 15, at 7:00 pm, in the Fellowship Hall. Our special guest speaker will be Skye Drane, Shelby County Horticulture Agent, who will bring us helpful hints on planting and growing.
- Student Sunday.... May 18 is a special time of student-led worship. We invite you to join as our 2025 Graduates will be honored during the service.
- Baby Bottle Campaign Kick-off.... We're launching our annual Baby Bottle Campaign. It's a fun and easy way to give back! From Mother's Day to Father's Day, simply collect spare change, cash or checks in a baby bottle. Every cent goes directly to supporting the work of ALC in our community. Together, lets show love in action and be source of hope to moms who need it most.
